Large Art Nouveau Tin Dish With Floral Decorations
Date: about the first half of the 20th century. This oval decorative dish stands on a low foot and has two neo-renaissance handles. It is made of high quality tin as indicated by the brand on the background (+95 %). The detailed and naturalist floral decoration is partly in relief and presents several types of flowers such as iris, daisies and tulips. The dish has a new art look and feel and is probably of the time; I found no reliable information about the brand.
He's from France or Belgium. Some markings of minor scratches and darker spots (at the base) as expected on a tin element of this age (see photo). Dimensions: 46 cm long, 32.5 cm wide, 8 cm high, 2.4 kg. This item is made of metal.
