Large Black Locust Bowl

  

Black locusts are very hard, dense and heavy wood. This big bowl is not for the faint-hearted. At 11.5 x 5 and nearly 3/4 thick, it's a salad/fruit bowl for a large table, and strong arms. Finish food safely, rinse with hot water, never put in a dishwasher. Red with white sap wood and a small dark marrow stain on the rim.
